Students who have passed the entrance exam conducted by the Institute of Science and Technology (IoST), T.U., can only apply for admission at Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology. Students are selected on a merit basis from among the applicants.
To be eligible to appear in the IoST entrance exam, one must have secured a minimum C grade in all subjects of class 11 and 12 or 45 % marks in +2 or a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics or D grade in A Level. One who has appeared in the final examination of +2 Science or equivalent can also apply.
BCA
Students who have passed the entrance exam conducted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, T.U., can only apply for admission at Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology.
Applicants must have completed +2 level or equivalent from a university, board, or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University with a minimum of 40% marks or a ‘D+’ grade or 2 CGPA.
Note: For BCA, the entrance form will be filled in college too.
