Important Dates and Deadlines for B.Sc. CSIT
Entrance Form & Entrance Exam 2081 (2024)

 

Bachelor of Computer Science & Information Technology (B.Sc. CSIT) Entrance Form Fill-up notice for 2081 (2024) was published on Ashar 16, 2081 by the Deal Office of Institute of Science & Technology (IOST), Tribhuvan University. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Should have a minimum C grade in each subject of class 11 and 12 or should secure a minimum of the second division in +2 or I.Sc. or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics of 100 marks each.

OR,

  • Should have a minimum D Grade in A Levels with Physics and Mathematics of 100 marks each.

OR,

  • In the case of Three Years Diploma in Engineering Program from CTEVT, students should secure at least a second division with Physics and Mathematics of 100 marks each.

Form Fill-up Charge

The charge for the B.Sc. CSIT entrance form is NRs. 1950/- (In words: One thousand nine hundred and fifty rupees only.)

Application Process & Entrance Date

As mentioned in the official notice, the entrance exam Application Process is entirely online. Interested students can fill up an online form from 2081/03/20, 10:00 AM onwards to 2081/05/06. Also, students can fill the form with double charge from 2081/05/07 to 2081/05/11. 

ENTRANCE DATE & TIME

2081/05/15, Saturday, 1 PM to 3 PM

Online Application Process

 

1. First, Open the official site of IoST https://iost.tu.edu.np/

2. Second, Click on the “Entrance Call” which is available at the top right side of the website

3. Third, Click on the “Apply” section located on the right side of the B.Sc. CSIT Entrance

4. Fourth, Click on the “Online Payment” button, fill up the necessary information and pay the required amount i.e. NRs. 1950/-

Remember, you cannot register for the B.Sc. CSIT Entrance Exam until and unless you make the payment. Once you make the payment, you will get the “Voucher Number” which is required during the Application process.

5. Fifth, click on the “Start Registration” Then, fill-up the necessary information including the Voucher Number and click on the “Continue” button

Also, remember to scan the following documents before starting registration as you are required to upload these documents as a part of the form fill-up process of B.Sc. CSIT program. The scanned file should not exceed 500 kb.

  • Bank Voucher (GLOBAL IME counter payment) OR Deposit Slip (e-banking/eSewa/ConnectIPS/Khalti payment)
  • Recent Passport Size Photo 9MRP Standard & Clear Photo)
  • SEE/SLC/Equivalent (Marksheet, Character Certificate & Certificate) – make a single pdf of all
  • Academic Transcript (Grade 11-12 both included OR Grade 12 Transcript & Grade 11 Marksheet OR Equivalent) – make single pdf if you have Marksheet!
  • Citizenship Certificate / Valid ID Card
  • Scanned Copy of the applicant’s Signature in PNG format (Color should be black)

 

6. Then, Input all the information correctly and upload the required documents. Before clicking on the “Submit” button, remember to verify by reviewing each and every information.

7. Also, be careful in filling in your “Preferred District” for the entrance examination as you can’t change later.

8. Finally, you will get the “Confirmation Page” after the successful submission. Please print the Confirmation Page or keep it safe somewhere, as it is required to print out the “Admit Card” later.
