  • Bachelor of Computer Application

Admission Process- B.Sc. CSIT

  • Those who have passed the Entrance Examination shall submit an Online Application/Priority Form through the website of IOST keeping “Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology” in priority.
  • IoST shall publish an Admission List.
  • Those who are selected for admission can start admission process by visiting the college along with the following documents. Admission shall be done as per the schedule, Rules, and Regulation of the College.
    • IoST Entrance Score Card (Color Print)
    • Copy of Marksheet, Certificate & Character Certificate (SLC/SEE or Equivalent)
    • Copy of Academic Transcript (Grade 11-12 both included OR Grade 12 Transcript & Grade 11 Marksheet OR Equivalent)
    • Copy of Provisional
    • Original Migration or Copy of TU Registration Card
    • Equivalence Certificate (if required)
    • Copy of Citizenship Certificate OR Valid ID Card (only information)
    • Two Passport Sized Photos of Applicant
    • Passport Sized Photos of Parents and Local Guardian
  • Upon completion of the admission, get the “Admission Confirmation Slip” and “Fee Deposit Slip” from the college as proof of your admission confirmation.
  • Subsequent Admission Lists shall be published as per the schedule provided by IoST.
  • Admission can be canceled as per the rules and regulations of the college and the Institute of Science and Technology, T. U.
  • The fee structure including other charges along with the payment schedule will be provided to the admitted students.

Admission Process – BCA

  • Those who have passed the Entrance Examination can visit the college. (Note: The entrance form for the entrance can also be filled from the college)
  • You can start the admission process by visiting the college along with the following documents. Admission shall be done as per the schedule, Rules, and Regulations of the College.
    • Entrance Score Card (Color Print)
    • Copy of Marksheet, Certificate & Character Certificate (SLC/SEE or Equivalent)
    • Copy of Academic Transcript (Grade 11-12 both included OR Grade 12 Transcript & Grade 11 Marksheet OR Equivalent)

B.Sc. CSIT

  • Students who have passed the entrance exam conducted by the Institute of Science and Technology (IoST), T.U., can only apply for admission at Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology. Students are selected on a merit basis from among the applicants.
  • To be eligible to appear in the IoST entrance exam, one must have secured a minimum C grade in all subjects of class 11 and 12 or 45 % marks in +2 or a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics or D grade in A Level. One who has appeared in the final examination of +2 Science or equivalent can also apply.

BCA

  • Students who have passed the entrance exam conducted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, T.U., can only apply for admission at Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology.
  • Applicants must have completed +2 level or equivalent from a university, board, or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University with a minimum of 40% marks or a ‘D+’ grade or 2 CGPA.

Note: For BCA, the entrance form will be filled in college too.

General Scholarship

 

Based on rules and regulations of Institute of Science and Technology, T. U., 10% of students enrolled at Sagarmatha College of Science & Technology are considered for scholarship.

 

 

 

 

 

Merit Scholarships:

 

10+2 College Toppers, District Toppers, Entrance high scorers and Province Toppers  are eligible for the scholarships.

 

 

 

 

Female Scholarships:

 

All female students who gets enrolled in the college receive scholarships in admission fee.

Early Bird Discount and Pre-Booking Discount for BCA

You can Pre-Book your seat in B. Sc. CSIT and BCA before the Entrance Exam. For that, follow the following procedure:

1. Visit the college and fill up the Pre-Admission form along with following documents:

a. Citizenship (Copy)
b. Mark sheet, Certificate & Character Certificate of SEE (Copy)
c. 11 Mark sheet, Transcript, Provisional, Character Certificate of +2 or equivalent (Copy)
d. Original Migration of +2 or equivalent
e. Three Passport sized photos of Student
f. Passport-size photo of parents (1 each)

2. Deposit the Pre-Admission amount NRs. 25,000 /- (Pre-booking amount will be refunded in case the student fails TU Entrance Exam)
